A New Hampshire native, Benjamin Fortin moved to Los Angeles to study in the prestigious GIT program at Musicians Institute. During his studies, he joined a 10-piece jazz/fusion instrumental band by the name of Mr. Giant. Additionally, he gigged with many local Hollywood artists. Immediately after earning his Associates Degree in Guitar Performance, he quickly made his way into the L.A music scene as a work-for-hire musician. Ben has performed and recorded with numerous ensembles and artists during his time in L.A. Besides being a working musician, he has gathered over 8 years of teaching and mentoring experience. He is currently the guitarist for former Warner Brother’s artist: Kaya Stewart, daughter of the renowned musician, David Stewart (credits: Eurythmics).
